Carol’s Background: Carol once appeared in Nigel Dempster’s diary page of the Daily Mail under the heading ‘another Jones has the gift of the gab’. The article referred to her following her employer Sir John Harvey-Jones as a speaker. With his encouragement Carol combined her role as his PA with speaking at a number of conferences. Again, with Sir John’s support she went on to set up Select Speakers to provide speakers for conferences and other events.

Carol’s varied secretarial background both here and overseas (namely Australia), and from working closely with Sir John for many years, has provided her with a comprehensive working knowledge of the liaison and organisation skills required when organising events from both the organisers and the speakers viewpoint.
