What is acupuncture?
Traditional Acupuncture is a totally natural healthcare system used for over 4000 years. It is safe and effective and takes a holistic approach to health.
If we become ill, have an injury or a long-standing condition, this is viewed as an imbalance in the body’s ‘vital energy’ or Qi . These imbalances can be caused by many factors; emotional and physical, particularly relevant today given the pressures of modern-day life.
Acupuncture triggers the body’s own self-healing mechanism re-establishing the balance of ‘vital energy’ and enhancing well-being. It is known to provide pain relief; and can treat the symptoms and the cause of many different acute and chronic conditions, with long lasting effects. Being natural it can work alongside conventional treatment/medication and can use dietary therapy to support treatment.
