
THE TIMETABLE
Three hours a week divided into: An hour of jazz/modern dance, an hour of drama and an hour of singing, all within a small class (not more than fifteen) of similar age group.
Stagecoach provides a safe and secure environment in 598 theatre schools throughout the UK and Ireland. Children and teenagers learn the major disciplines of performance. Working in small classes led by talented professionals students gain confidence and self-esteem while learning drama, singing and dancing skills.
THE STAFF
Experienced professionals teach in all the schools. Many are, or were, actors/singers/dancers/directors or choreographers. Most are highly qualified in teaching or performing, and all are carefully chosen for their experience of working with youngsters.
THE PRINCIPAL
Each school of 45 students has its own Principal. He or she is always on hand to lead the staff, manage the youngsters and assist the parents. Most own their own schools.
WHAT ELSE?
Each school shows off its students' work to parents and friends twice a year. Some students work towards exams in their second or subsequent year and gain medals for perseverance and achievement. All parents receive a written report twice a year. Third year students may audition for the Stagecoach National Showcase Production which takes place in London.
SportsCoach offers quality sports coaching to youngsters aged 6-16 of all abilities. Getting your youngster involved in children’s sports can be difficult, so SportsCoach teaches over 18 sports in a fun, supportive and safe environment. This exposure to many different sports coupled with professional coaching gives them the platform they need to grow both mentally and physically.
Mini Stages specialises in providing baby and toddler music groups – musical workshops led by a trained teacher. Sessions are educationally sound and great fun. Classes take place on different days all over the UK. All babies and toddlers need to be accompanied by an adult, either a parent, grandparent or nanny.
