Personal Coaching

Coaching can help you to achieve your goals in your personal or work life. Telephone calls are booked at times to suit us both. Counselling generally helps to learn to live with a specific issue such as bereavement, divorce, abuse, loss of job / role, etc.

Coaching is an agreement between you and me to focus on your ideas and dreams.

Together we can harness your commitment and enthusiasm so that you obtain the results that you define.

Both counselling and coaching can be face to face, by telephone or even by post or email. Both require some effort from the client to want changes to occur.

I will work to a professional Code of Conduct that ensures confidentiality, respect and a non-judgmental, non-critical approach.

Fees for these services can be paid either sessionally or monthly in advance and will be discussed after the first contact. This will help to ensure that I am the right person for you at this time.

Psychosexual Counselling

Psychosexual problems affect relationships and many other areas of your life. They can come from previous experiences, and can be influenced by lifestyle, age, medication, expectations and the relationship itself.

Psychosexual therapy can help you and/or your partner if there is a problem with your sex life or your relationship. It can also enable you to address problems within relationships, or to come to terms with any confusion concerning your sexuality.

More about me

• My working life has been in midwifery and family planning, and I became a principle lecturer in these subjects at University.

• I have a Masters Degree in Ethnic studies and Equal Opportunities and also a teaching qualification.

• I am an experienced counsellor, coach, stress manager and psychosexual therapist and I teach these subjects and lecture extensively throughout the UK

• I also undertake expert witness reports on litigation regarding midwifery cases in the UK and Canada

• I have co-authored a book on Bullying in the Health Services with Ruth Hadikin (The Bullying Culture published by Heinneman)

• I have worked with young people in schools Youth clubs and other venues and was awarded the Nursing Times/ 3M award for innovation in this area in 1997

• I love reading, theatre and feeling at peace with my world
